Integration Bee 2025
Annual Integration Bee conducted in BITS Pilani by Mathematics Association
Continuing the legacy event of the Mathematics Association, we organized the Integration Bee this year at BITS Pilani, Pilani Campus. The question set for the event was framed by our senior Aman Devanani, along with Uday, Dhaval, Lavya, Nikhil, and Nihar.
The entire question-making process was both engaging and enjoyable, some problems were classic challenging ones, others were entirely original, and a few were well-known integrals that we creatively modified to add a twist.
The event saw an enthusiastic participation of around 200 students. We conducted it in the LTC 5105 and 5102 rooms. To give it a fresh and collaborative feel, we made the format team-based, with teams of two members, encouraging newly joined freshers to bond and work together.
The competition began with a qualifying round, consisting of a 30-minute written test with 20 questions. From this, the top 8 teams were shortlisted for the final round — a knockout-style integration battle with an interesting twist. For each integral presented, the team members had to switch solvers every time the buzzer was pressed, adding an exciting and unpredictable element to the event.
We also included an audience round and a prize pool to keep the spectators actively engaged and give them something exciting to look forward to throughout the event.
The Integration Bee 2025 Finale at BITS Pilani witnessed an intense battle of wits between the teams of Hithav & Aatman and Yash & Neel. After a thrilling contest that kept the audience on edge, Hithav and Aatman emerged as the champions, showcasing exceptional problem-solving skills and composure under pressure.
We also had an engaging Audience Round, where participants from the crowd enthusiastically joined in the fun. Congratulations to our Audience Round Winners Aditya Balaraman and Aditya Balani, both securing an impressive 7 correct answers! Their quick thinking and enthusiasm truly added to the spirit of the event.
